Our art curriculum is based on exploration in arts and provide opportunity for students to express and explore with a wide range of materials through drawing, painting, working with clay, construction, fabric and craft materials . Art lessons and projects are developed to demonstrate the understanding of how to use elements of art( line, space, shape and form, colors, texture) and principles of art(Balance, emphasis, movement, proportion, rhythm, unity, and variety). Each grade level will have the experience of working with a variety of materials and medium and explore different genres like portraits, landscapes, still life, cityscapes, cartoon, abstract etc., Each grade will be introduced to art history and learn about the lives and work of masters and contemporary artists and create a master piece inspired by famous paintings from art history and contemporary art.
Whether it is learning a simple line drawing or a realistic painting, students will have the absolute fun and enjoy the process of creating art!!!
