UGLY SWEATER DESIGN CHALLENGE- Here are the unique and creative sweater designs from the students. Students were asked to design an ugly holiday sweater using their art skills. They were asked to use any materials to design their sweater.

 Welcome to our blog: 
 
Our art curriculum is based  on exploration in arts and provides opportunity for students to express and explore with wide range of materials through drawing, painting, working with clay, construction, fabric and craft materials .  Art lessons and projects are developed to demonstrate the understanding of how to use elements of art( line, space, shape and form, colors, texture) and principles of art(Balance, emphasis, movement, proportion, rhythm, unity, and variety). Each grade level will have experience working with a variety of materials and  explore different genre like portraits, landscapes, still life, cityscapes, cartoon, abstract etc., Each grade will be introduced to art history and  learn about the lives and work of masters and contemporary artists and create a master piece inspired by famous  painting from art history.
