Elements of Art

We often discuss about why elements of art important for any piece of artwork. Artists use these seven elements of art.. Line, Shape, Form, Space, Texture, Value and Color. Artists use these seven elements mix them with principles of design to compose a piece of art. As we study the works of various artists from Renaissance period to Modern period, we see that not every work of art has all these elements but atleast two are always present. Students understand how fun and useful to have elements of art. As we discuss about the Masters' artworks and understanding the elements of art, allows the students to analyze, appreciate and chat about art as well as help to create art themselves. Each lesson is designed to help students use their skills to analyze the seven elements of art and principles of design.
