ATMOSPHERIC PERSPECTIVE- TINT, TONE AND SHADE

5th grade students watched a short video on atmospheric perspective in Renaissance Art. Student learned the method of creating the illusion of depth in a painting by modulating the colors to show changes effected by the atmosphere. We learned to blur the details of the object as the image move backward in to the distance and object in the foreground is remarkably detailed. We achieved this technique by learning to TINT, TONE AND SHADE.
